Audi A3 e-tron - the plug-in hybrid version of the latest generation of the small A3 from Audi is in many ways similar to its predecessor. Unfortunately, the design of the boot has changed quite a bit, so while there's plenty of space on paper, that's not the case in practice.
Unfortunately, it's very difficult to find a dog carrier if you drive an Audi A3 e-tron (PHEV). Some of the challenges with this particular car model are:
- You have a very slanted rear window.
- There is very limited space from the rear seat (headrests) to the rear window.
- This means that the top of the dog cage cannot be very deep because it will hit the rear window.
- The opening to the boot will be very narrow at the top, so the cage can't be too wide either.
Luckily, there are still dog crates that can fit in your A3, but only if you have a smaller dog. The largest dog carrier you can fit is the ELITE E1, which unfortunately isn't that deep. But it will fit in your car just fine.
