The large luxury SUV - the Q7 model from Audi is a great looking car. But even though it's a big car, not all dog cages fit inside. There's plenty of height inside the cabin, but the opening to the boot itself is relatively low, which can make finding a dog carrier for your Q7 a challenge. You also have a slanted rear window, but this is often compensated by the fact that you have plenty of depth in the boot. So when choosing a dog carrier for your Q7, keep the following in mind:
- Your dog carrier must be a maximum of 65-70cm high.
- Remember that the higher the cage, the less you can utilise the depth of the boot as you risk the top of the cage hitting your rear window.
- In practice, you can fit most dog cages that are 65cm high and up to 80-85cm deep.
