Important info for those with a 2021 Cupra Ateca -> ?
Although the Cupra Ateca shares a model name with its sister brand Seat Ateca, and although they are cars in the same class/size, the boot and body design is different. This also means that not exactly the same list of dog carriers fit in the two variants. Of course, we've tested the newer Cupra Ateca for you, so you can easily find your new dog carrier in the overview below.
When choosing a dog cage for your Ateca, you should be aware of, among other things:
- In some models, it is possible to lower the base plate in the boot.
- You have a relatively slanted rear window, so pay particular attention to whether the rear window hits the top of the dog cage.
- You can fit most dog cages that are up to 60cm deep. On some dog cage brands, such as our ELITE or K9 Pro dog cages, you can utilise the depth of the trunk better. Here you can usually fit dog cages up to 72-73cm deep.
- Choose a dog cage as deep as your car allows, as this makes the best use of the space in the boot.
