Important info for you with a Dacia Duster 2. Gen 2WD 2018 -> ?
- the second generation of the super popular large Dacia Duster is very similar in size to its predecessor. The boot is wide and has a good depth. So there are plenty of opportunities to find a really nice dog cage that fits neatly and securely in the boot.
Unfortunately, there is a difference in the design of the boot depending on whether you drive with front-wheel drive (2WD) or 4WD. There isn't the same space in an SUV. Luckily, the model we've tested below, 2WD - front-wheel drive, is the one with the most cars on the road. A few general tips when choosing a dog carrier for your Dacia Duster 2nd generation are:
- You have a small loading edge. This means that the boot is lowered compared to the opening on the tailgate. Fortunately, the edge is not that high, and since all dog cages in our range open at least 8cm from the ground, this is not a problem.
- You can fit dog cages up to about 85cm (depending on the angles of the cage)
- Your dog cage must be a maximum of 68cm high, otherwise it won't fit through the opening to the boot.
