The Ford Fiesta has been around for many years, and this is now the 7th generation, so we can safely say that the Fiesta is a popular car. Traditionally, dog cages have not been available for cars of this size. In the past, dog cages were only developed for large estate cars. Fortunately, this has changed in the last few years, so it's now possible to get a dog carrier for your car if you drive a Fiesta. However, the size of the boot only allows dog crates for smaller dogs. If you have a large dog, consider folding down the rear seats for more options.
- Remember - you have a lowered boot with a high loading edge. This means you need to choose a dog carrier with steps so the carrier door can open over the edge.
- You'll have the most space in the centre of the trunk. At the sides, the boot curves, so there's not quite the same depth here.
- If you're not sure if the dog crate is big enough for your dog breed, sketch the measurements on the floor at home so you can visually get an idea of the size
