Important info for you with a Peugeot 2008 2. Gen 2019 -> ? (not electric)
In the last few years, Peugeot has relaunched the 3008, 5008, 508, 208 and now also the 2008.
This has drastically changed the boot space and therefore also the space available when looking for dog cages... Fortunately, the manufacturers have also started to develop more variants of dog cages ???? Therefore, we can also help with dog cages for the new generations of Peugeot's design gems.
The new 2008 has become smarter to look at, unfortunately at the expense of boot space. It's not as wide as the 1st generation Peugeot 2008.
Therefore, we would like to point out the following before you choose your new dog cage:
- We have only tested the car with the boot lowered. If you have a base plate so that the boot is at the same level as the opening, you only have room for the very low dog cages. This is because the distance up to the rear window is very limited.
- With the boot lowered, you have a loading edge of about 16cm. Therefore, pay attention to whether the door of your dog cage can open!
- You have just 90cm in width where the hat rack is normally mounted. If you choose a dog cage that is 90cm wide, be careful when taking it in and out of the car. It doesn't take much to scratch the edges.
- The largest dog crate you can fit is the K9 Pro Model Hercules 17
