Important info for you with a 2018 VW T-Cross -> ?
The VW T-Cross is a slightly smaller car than its popular big brother, the T-Roc.
So it's a pleasant surprise that the boot of a T-Cross is more suitable for dog cages than a T-Roc.
It's still a smaller car, so you need to be aware of, among other things:
- A T-Cross comes in different equipment variants. Depending on which variant you have, you should pay attention to whether your car has the option to a) Adjust the depth of the rear seat b) Lower the boot to create a loading edge
- When you lower the boot lid, you have room for a higher cage. Unfortunately, the boot is no longer completely flat. The boot plate makes a small bend/edge. This means that when you place a cage in the lowered boot, it will stand on the edge. This means that you need to level out the difference in level. You may want to block up the front of the cage.
- On some dog cages, it will be necessary to move the back seat forwards. Be aware of whether you want this, as it CAN have a big impact on how much space there is in the back seat for passengers.
